Bambi Jackson originally moved to Albuquerque, NM (USA) from Virginia, although she has been in New Mexico about long enough to call herself a native. A classically trained pianist and self-taught guitarist, Bambi's musical career has taken her from playing classical to gospel to funk to electronic new age to rock, always with a constancy in writing and performing her originals since she was 11 years old. She has performed in several groups over the years including Once in a Blue Moon, What the Funk, and the Electric Edric Project. Although CHARMED has gotten under her skin and in her bloodstream as her main gig, she is currently pursuing another new side project, experimenting with musical programming & electronic music to broaden her horizons, along with doing studio session work for various artists.

A wide variety of musicians/bands have influenced her writing & performance, ranging from Bach, Mozart, & Beethoven, to Sarah McLachlan, Fisher & Dido, to Toad the Wet Sproket, Avril Lavigne, Snow Patrol, Hoobastank, Blue October & Incubus.

Bambi's day job (e.g., the "gig" that supports her true heart's desire) is with the Clinical & Translational Science Center at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center, as well as freelancing in graphic & web design. She teaches private piano and is the proud mom of two sons: one exploring a career in studio, graphic & comic art, the other in college pursuing his degree in music.
